I have just over 10 years styling experience on afro-textured hair, and I graduated from the Aveda Institute for Hair Styling in 2012. I am able to work with all hair types; however, my niche is afro-textured hair.
Initially when I meet a client, I ask them about their hair history so that I can understand what their hair has gone through so there is an easy transition going forward. I also ask what their hair needs are, along with what their hair goals are to formulate a plan that will work well for them. Lifestyle plays a major role when it comes to styling hair as well.
I have been lucky enough to offer my services through gift certificates to local events and my time to perform charitable work. I also enjoy working on photoshoots, and styling hair for events.

I am continually growing and look forward to working with you!

November 2014, Toronto
I planned, organized, and facilitated a natural hair styling event for 40 women. I had Toni Daley, YouTuber, Artist, Vlogger, Blogger, and Naturalista as a special guest, along with Charmaine Daley, of Luv’n Locks. The discussion centered around natural hair maintenance for people who where their natural hair loose and for those who wear locks as well. As all three of us have a different perspective on natural hair, it made the discussion more interesting for the guests. There were many raffles, where the audience had opportunities to win prizes.
The proceeds from the raffle and a portion of the ticket sales went to the Scarborough Centre For Healthy Communities, Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Care Centre.
